A capacitive sensor measures the thickness of the Film after the collapsing frame. The sensor follows automatically the edge of the Film.
After a rotation of the die or of the take-off, the profile le will be calculated and shown in the new PROFILSTAR.NET visualization. Applications: This combination is especially appropriated to retrofitting existing blown film lines with a thickness measuring system. Apart from a better thickness distribution, it also provides significant savings of raw material. |
